Johnny Lightning Muddy Red Forever 64 rel. 24

Issued in 2012 as part of the Forever 64 release #24 set this Cherokee is one of my favorite from Johnny Lightning because it is uniquely decorated with artificial mud and features unique tires.

Description

Part of the Forever 64 release #24 this was the fourth Jeep Cherokee issued by Johnny Lightning as part of the 622 casting. While it doesn’t have many tampos it is adorned with artificial mud splatter and features chrome wheels. It is also the only Johnny Lightning Cherokee with plastic tires. The tires are also decorated to be “muddy” and have an inner wheel which keeps the main tire from riding on the ground. This was likely done to avoid the mud art from rubbing off the tires. Like all other Johnny Lightning Cherokees the hood opens to reveal a reasonably well detailed engine, it also features a snorkel and winch bumper with grill guard.

TAMPOS:

  • “Jeep” logo on header panel and rear hatch
  • Silver headlights
  • Red taillights
  • Artificial mud splatter
